Havago Australia hunts are in several regions in Australia totaling millions of acres allowing us to offer the very best in hunting and fishing to all our clients all year round.

Pig hunting areas

We offer the pig hunter 3 choices  the first being our  base camp is in southern Queensland [ east of Brisbane ] which  offers wild boar hunts . These hunts while whilst great fun and good pig with no bag limits the wild boar  They are not comparable in size or number to the dangerous  huge wild boars of the northern regions of the Northern Territory or the northern Queensland 7 day wild boar trips

 

 

 

  

1. Wild boar hunts in South Eastern Queensland

Pig hunting combined with fresh water fishing for yellow belly, perch , bass  and Murray cod .

The pig hunting here is done on our property in the trap rock hills areas of the south western Queensland and whilst in traprock regions good boars can still be found lurking up gullies  and waterways. The boars while not generally as large as their northern cousins are a definite challenge for any hunter and  mobs can be hunted each day.  there is always fishing along the many sleepy river banks . Silver Perch, Yellow Belly [ Golden Perch] Bass and Catfish

  

Closest airport: Brisbane or Toowoomba

Representative Trophy size :

Our wild boar  trophies weigh between 120-200 kg

How we hunt: We hunt on 4wd to a point and then long walking.. we walk up gulleys and also check bait piles.

Accommodation: Safari cabin or lodge

 

 

2.  Option 2.   Northern Territory Wild Boars and wing shooting

This is the hunt for the hunter who is looking for a special trophy wild boar with large tusks .. here on the flood plains of 100000 acres they breed them big ... you'll see hundreds of pigs each day especially at the end of the season from August onwards .. these pigs are managed and so its exciting to look for the ultimate big gold medal boar ... theres unbeliveable magpie geese in the region so you can hunt these  and your chef will cook them for you a real delicacy ! You may have to dodge a few crocs on the hunt but that adds to the excitment ..

3.  Option 3.

We also send clients with another outfittter to the northern reaches on the gulf  where clients 

on one trip tis year took 55 boars in7 days . 

The very vast northern reaches of Queensland's Gulf country famous  huge pigs and spectacular fishing  .

Trips go from July to November and have

comfortable air- conditioned accomodation. Barramundi fishing rght on the shores of the creek What could be better.!

Its rugged  terrain  but it is natural beauty of Australia's bush and adds to the adventure of the hunt .

Weapons

Bow or Rifle , temporary permit required if bringing your own rifles into Australia. [ no automatics]
