Jim and I  Patrick taking video

Firstly a little information about our business which Jim and I [ Debbie] have been operating for the last 17 years. Jim has a  lifetime working in the bush. Its always been our home and Jim has a passion for both hunting and fishing. He has a great wealth of knowledge of the bush and its wildlife. Jim and i have spent bioth our lives in the bush working on the land closely associated with nature and hunting. and 20 years ago started one of Australia's first safari operations. Jim guides most of the hunts himself  and if that's not possible  we give you the very best guide and in most areas you will have comfortable first class accommodations but our hunts are true hunts covering rough rugged terrain. this is country made for deer not man ..With a number of years spent as a tourism officer I do the bookings assist you with any questions, overcome any  problems and provide you with valuable local knowledge invaluable in making  any hunting and travel arrangements,  and makes your planning as easy as possible. In my spare time I have a passion for jewellery and create unique pieces of wildlife art incorporating  antler, timber and other found articles from the bush.

When we started "Havago" our children were babies and now  they are both involved in the tourism industry.  Patrick our 17 year old son  is very active with the safaris doing both guiding and taking videos safaris. He is also of course a keen angler and hunter like his father

We live in South Eastern Queensland on a sheep station a comfortable 3 hour drive west from Brisbane.  There are bus  and air services to  Toowoomba  situated half way between us and Brisbane. Our services include airport pickups and returns.

You will  sole hunting access to  this 12000 acres of what we call Traprock country. [ hilly and rocky covered with eucalypts, acacias, teatrees, oak, cypress pine and many other native trees and shrubs. ] Great natural terrain much of it in its virgin state as has been  for thousands of years . Home for the 5 species of deer and goats  that roam here as well as the myriad of feral vermin and native wildlife.
